Boris Johnson feels ‘deep regret’ over failure to deliver Brexit by ‘do or die’ deadline

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has apologised to those who elected him for not delivering on his “do-or-die” promise to implement Brexit by 31 October.

The UK prime minister said he feels “deep regret” over missing the intended deadline, which he was forced to extend to the end of January.

With the EU departure the overwhelming focus of the election campaign, Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage ruled out making a bid to become an MP in the December vote.
